Luigi Einaudi was very creative:
he largely contributed to the Economic, Financial Science, Political and Historical thinking.
His communication went through numerous types of writings : monographs, newspaper articles, scientific essays and reviews.

This site is aimed at a double purpose.

First, collect in a single database all Einaudi's writings which are often difficult to find, if only because they have been scattered in a myriad of journals, newspapers, collective volumes, or occasional publications. Second, provide readers - both scholars and the curious - with the best tool when browsing the material.

Three search modes were devised: chronological, by bibliographic type, and by key words. For each text, the place of first publication and any further reprint is specified.

A coherent logical and philological approach imposed two constraints: exclude the letters for any logical arrangement would have been too heterogeneous for this database (chronological order; alphabetical order by recipients).

And, include books published before Einaudi's death as standalone books, with the sole exception of the last tomes of the Cronache economiche e politiche di un trentennio.
